With a zoology background and a career working within the zoological field, it was inevitable that I would stumble upon the path of beekeeping!

From managing my first hive at my place of work, I then went on to house honey bees in my own garden and from there the hobby has been growing!

Alongside the natural world, another love of mine is music and so have themed my hives around various musicians. My first hive, the Jackson Hive was the first colony to join my garden. In 2024, there will be more hives being established, including the 'Bee-Gees'!

Within my first year of beekeeping I was jarring a lot of excess honey and quickly moved on to produce various health and beauty products, from the excess beeswax and propolis produced, alongside other items such as beeswax wraps, beautiful candles and other small gifts.
